Waste Heat Recovery systems to Power

WHR systems captures residual heat of industrial processes and uses it for other applications such pre-heating and electricity generation, this process helps to enhancing energy efficiency of industrial processes, increasing profitability and contribute to reach the net zero goal faster. The largest source of waste heat in many industries are flue gases, heated air from manufacturing systems and process heat load to cooling systems.

In our efforts to transforming from oil and gas dependent the need of electricity significantly increases, the national grid capacity limitations to transfer electric power and long lead time to increase the grid capacity will increase the focus on local clean produced power.

Eureka highly efficient low temperature ORC systems enables transforming low quality heat source to high value electric power and support the industry to reduce the energy demand and reach the net zero goal.

Typical WHR system sources is:

  • Process cooling (air and water)
  • Low pressure steam
  • Exhaust and flue gases
  • Engine cooling

Untangled historical constraints

We have resolved historical constraints for investment in WHR systems to Power.

  • Fluctuating temperatures on the waste heat
    • Eureka: Eureka´s ORC system is design to produce power despite fluctuating temperatures on the waste heat source.
  • The temperature of the waste fluid heat is too low.
    • Eureka: Our ORC systems produce power from waste heat fluid < 60 °
  • We are already using the “waste heat” to pre-heat our processes.
    • Eureka: Our highly efficient low temperature ORC system could supply heated water from the ORC condenser for pre-heating.
  • Our processes are too crucial for our core business so we can´t allow other installations in our facility.
    • Eureka: Our highly efficient low temperature ORC system enable installation with the end cooling system without affecting existing systems.
